An etsy banner and matching avatar for Stacey. The 4 little birds represent her four kids. She wanted a funky, fun look to match her shop name, Sidetails - Funky Fiber Arts.

Liana asked for a design that was casual yet elegant. Pleasing to the eye, yet not distracting from her post content. She wanted gold, green and red with perhaps an element of Christianity. I thought a cross would go perfect for the T in Transformed. I really love the design we came up with.

Lauren told me she loves black, cheetah print, and all pinks. Especially hot pinks. It wasn't too hard to combine the three into a fun, flirty, feminine design.

Here is a cute little blinkie I did for Courtney Lane Designs. It was fun to conceptualize the idea of a little birdie flying across the button and then make it work with different frames. I also created a signature for her:

Cassandra won a $15 credit toward a design item or items of her choice. She used it to get a $15 navigation bar and then also ordered a signature and button. All were customized to match her existing blog background:

Susannah decided to add a navigation bar to her blog. She wanted it to match her fun and bright colored look and though a mouse rollover effect would be fun. Here is what it looks like before mouseover:

As you mouseover each button, the words highlight lightly and a little pink butterfly pops up next to each. You can see th, Advertising button, highlighted below. This was a very fun bar to put together!

Tiffany wanted a custom made advertisement to put on her blog that will direct viewers to her website when they click on the ad. She gave me several pictures to work with and we decided to make a blinkie ad and rotate through them:

My goodness! I knew this last week felt busy but I didn't realize until I put this post together, just how much I had done!

Kailani is going to put up a new look for her blog soon and she had me design a header, matching series of navigation buttons and some different post signatures (not pictured). She wanted to stick with a beachy theme but go pink. I love the peach and pink together!

Amanda at Beautiful Blog Designs had me make a feature button to match her site.

Tiffany is starting a new homemaking blog and chose the Sunny Skies Design kit to base her design around. It has a homemaking type feel and is cheerful and welcoming.

Joy decided to revamp her blog after seeing my work on The Cuttlebug spot. She found an image of a Flamingo that she loved and we incorporated it into a pink and green color scheme. She has a lot of great information to offer her readers and wanted three sidebars to house it all more neatly.

Amanda had me redesign her blog 5 months ago but decided it was time for another new look. This time around she chose the Calypso kit for her design because of the bright, cheerful colors. She wanted lots of white space and for the design to be light on graphics for faster loading. We added a navbar and I think we came up with a really clean, inviting, cheerful look!

Nilda wanted a clean, crisp, organized feel for her craft blog (inspired by a machine called the cuttlebug). I really love the white space and clean lines. There is just enough contrasting color in the header and navbar to make it feel interesting but not cluttered. She also asked me to make some blinkies for her. I hadn't made blinkies before but I figured I could learn. Here are the two we came up with. Both were slightly modified versions of some earlier blinkies she had had made.

Blinkies take a lot more work than I expected. It's like creating your own cartoon. To make the image move you have to compile individual frames. So for the round button above I ended up making a total of 32 frames, each with a minute detail change. Phew!

Lindsay's aunt Amanda purchased a Basic Design to spruce up her blog. I love her carefree teenage style.

"Brown Girl" came to me wanting a blog design that was "...fun, fresh, and funky...something feminine for sure."

We started off with pink, brown and a splash of turquoise but she decided to nix the turquoise and go for just brown, hot pink and white. Once we found a background that she really liked everything else seemed to fall into place. We found an illustration of a girl and some orchids (her favorite flower) that were similar in style, on Fotolia.com, and from there Brown Girl Blogs was re-born!

Amanda, owner of Beautiful Blog Designs, recently had her blog critiqued on BlogCoach.org. It was suggested by some that she add a navigation bar and since I designed the blog's header, Amanda came back to me to request a navigation bar for her site.

The final look is very simple and classic really - MaiandraGD font on the black backdrop:

But the thing that makes it fun is the mouse rollover effect. When you mouse over one of the links, a green oval appears behind the text. The green matches the main background of the blog and the effect really draws the eye. I think mouse overs are really great attention getters without being annoying:

* Plain Text Navigation Bar - $10
This option involves no graphics at all and includes whatever amount of text links will fit into the span of your layout. The links will be the font your blog posts are set too and on whatever background color your blog already is. Installation included.

* Graphic Navigation Bar - $15
This option allows you to choose a more creative font since each button will be an image. You can choose your own background color, graphic background and/or an icon. Includes whatever amount of links will fit into the span of your layout and installation.

* Graphic Navigation Bar with Mouse rollover image - $20
Same as the $15 option above with the option to have each button change as the viewers mouse passes over it. Roll your mouse over my navigation bar above to see this effect.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In Blogger, one cannot create static pages so instead we create the illusion of a static page. Each button in your navigation bar will either be linked to one post (which can be updated just like a regular post), or to a specific label.

If a button is linked to a specific label then all posts filed under that label will be shown when a user clicks on the button. If you want, say, an About Me page, you'll need to create a post just for your About Me information. Then I can link up one of the buttons to that post.

I am able to remove the date from your navigation bar posts (excepting labels) if you'd like as well, to make it look even more like a truly static page.

Can you say overbooked? This last week was super busy! But of course it was fun. I really love designing!

Lisa over at The Berry Patch won a blog redesign from me. She found this great picture of blueberries on fotolia and so we incorporated it into her design.

Ronnica over at Tale of a Kansas Girl wanted a holiday design. I was excited to make my first holiday design of the season.

The 3 headers and button above were for Erika at inspired mama musings. She won a full blog redesign during the Bloggy Giveaways Carnival but asked if she could get 4 seasonal headers and a button instead. I'm still working on the autumn header.

I had already redesigned Caitlin's iMommy Blog but she wanted to add a navbar.

One of the funnest things about designing blogs is discovering new color schemes. Sometimes a client will ask for certain colors together and at first I just can't picture it. But then once I find the right shades, it's amazing what colors look really fantastic together. I never would have thought of green, gray, white & black but once I started working on this design I realized I really love those colors together!

My first Holiday Design! I love sugar cookies. This header was very fun to put together.

I love that someone finally picked the Abiding Memories kit for me to create a design from. I really love the purple, teal and beige combination and think Lisa's design is so calming and lovely.

This was a very fun design to create. Rachel contacted me with a specific color scheme and asked for something fun, vibrant and that had to do with footballs and crowns. I love what we came up with.

Lori asked me to make her a header with a fairy and a Margarita on it that matched her current blog color scheme and name, and this is what I came up with. I think it's very fun.

PAYMENT

* Paypal is my only accepted method of payment.

* 50% of your blog design package total is required up front and is non-refundable. The remaining 50% will be expected prior to installation and is non-refundable once installation is complete.

PLATFORMS

* At this time I only create designs for Blogger/Blogspot.com blogs

* I am only a designer and will not set up your blog for you. You can however, do that yourself in 3 easy steps by visiting Blogger.com.

DESIGN PROCESS

* Once you have contacted me to let me know which design package you'd like, I will let you know what place you will have in my queue. This may change depending on how timely you are in returning a short questionnaire and payment. I will send you a Paypal invoice and a questionnaire that will be based on the package you have chosen and will notify you of your exact place in my queue after both are returned.

* Once I begin your design, I will have a first draft for you within three days. The first draft will be implemented on a practice blog so you can get the entire picture of what your blog could look like. You may revise till your hearts content and we've found the look that is perfect for you! But please be sure you are absolutely content with your design before installation has commenced. Once installation is in progress, any tweaks you ask for will incur a $25 an hour charge. After installation is complete any changes you ask for will incur a completely new charge.

* A blog redesign is often a quick succession of emails. To help move things along efficiently please check your email frequently during the design process.

* I generally take weekends off so you may not hear from me on Saturdays and Sundays.

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

* I retain intellectual property of your design, and ask that all parts of the blogs design remain intact. If you alter my design, it is no longer a reflection of my work. You are of course free to remove my design completely at any point but you may not alter it. I am happy to work with you on a new design at some point. Or I offer add on design items we can use to update your current design.

* My business is family friendly only. I reserve the right to decline your business if I find the content of your blog vulgar or offensive.

* I require a link back to this website be placed somewhere on your new design. You may choose to either have a navigation button stating that I did your redesign installed in your sidebar or to have the link as text in the footer of your new design.
